Can I get a refund?

Event Overview
What is the Foodie Fest Summer Series?
The 2025 Foodie Fest Summer Series is a celebration of summer flavors, featuring four distinct events—Foodie Frenzy, Wing Palooza, Reggae Fest, and Taco Palooza. Running from May to September, each event offers a diverse lineup of food vendors, artisan vendors, live music, exciting contests, and an exclusive VIP Lounge. This series highlights local talent, diverse cuisines, and community spirit, making it a must-attend summer tradition.
Where is the event held?
The Foodie Fest Summer Series takes place at 701 Front Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI, in a large, fully fenced-in parking lot. These events are outdoors. Street parking is available along Scribner Avenue and Front Avenue surrounding the event grounds.
What are the event hours?
Events run from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. VIP ticket holders enjoy early admission from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
Is there an entry fee?
Yes, General Admission tickets are $40, and VIP tickets are $90. Children 10 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult (no ticket required for kids under 10). VIP is only for ticket holders.
What does the VIP ticket include?
VIP tickets include early admission (12:00 PM), access to the premium VIP Lounge with exclusive seating, complimentary drink samples from select sponsors, and a limited-edition event swag bag.

Where can I park?
Free public parking is available via street parking along Scribner Avenue and Front Avenue surrounding the event grounds.
Is there handicap parking?
Yes, designated ADA parking is available near the event entrance.
Can I use public transportation?
Yes, the Rapid Bus Route 7 stops at Scribner Avenue NW and 6th St NW. Ride-share services, carpooling, scooters, and bicycles are also encouraged.

What kind of entertainment will be at the Wing Palooza?
Bringing the heat with a high-energy mix of live music, food-centric fun, and interactive experiences!
Enjoy local bands and djs playing a mix of current tunes and throwbacks, plus the Wing Eating Contest where participants compete to devour the most wings in 5 mins.
Expect food trivia games, photo-worthy props, and family-friendly activities to keep the excitement going all day.
Is there a schedule for the performances?
Entertainment runs from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Performances will take place at the main stage. A detailed schedule will be released closer to the event.
Who’s performing at Wing Palooza?
Yes! A full entertainment schedule will be available by Sept 1, 2025, on our website and social media [Foodie Frenzy]. Check back for band times, contest details, and more.
How do I sign-up for the Wing Eating Contest?
Think you’ve got what it takes to crush wings the fastest? Compete for the title of Wing King (or Queen) and win naming rights, a $150 cash prize, and an exclusive event t-shirt. Every contestant gets a free drink ticket just for participating!
There’s a $25 participation fee. Registration opens 48 hours before the event and will be emailed to all ticket-holders. Spots are limited to the first 8 participants, so early registration is highly recommended. Must be a ticket holder to enter.
How do I vote for the Wing Contests [Fav Wing/Creative Wing]?
Each vendor will have a QR code displayed at their booth — just scan it to vote for your Festival Favorite. One vote per guest!
Food & Beverage
What kind of food will be available?
A variety of cuisines will be offered with a focus on chicken wings.Â
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted, except for medically necessary dietary items and baby food.
Will alcohol be served?
Yes, alcohol will be available for purchase, including craft beer and premium options. Individuals aged 21 and older must present a valid ID.
What payment methods are accepted at the event?
Most vendors accept cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments (e.g., Apple Pay, Venmo). We recommend bringing some cash as a backup, as there will be no on-site ATM.

How can I become a vendor?
Vendor applications are available at Get Involved. Booth fees vary based on size and setup requirements.
Are food trucks allowed?
Yes, food trucks are welcome! Please submit a vendor application at Get Involved to be considered.
Can local businesses sponsor the event?
Yes, sponsorship opportunities are available. Details can be found at Get Involved.
Can I volunteer at the event?
Yes, we welcome volunteers! Sign up at Get Involved to join our team and receive perks like free entry and event merchandise.
Family & Accessibility
Is the event family-friendly?
Yes, the event offers kid-friendly activities, entertainment, and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages.
Are kids free?
Children 10 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult and do not require a separate ticket. Children without a ticket cannot access VIP. Must have a ticket in order to utilize VIP.
Do children need a ticket?
No, children 10 and under enter free with an adult. Infants and toddlers are welcome, and strollers are permitted.
Are pets allowed?
Service animals are permitted, but pets are not allowed due to health and safety regulations.
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the event takes place on flat, cement grounds. ADA-accessible portable restrooms are available in both General Admission and VIP areas.
Event Policies
Are bags allowed? Is there a security check?
Small bags (e.g., purses, backpacks under 12″x12″) are permitted but subject to search at entry. Prohibited items include weapons, large coolers, and outside alcohol. Security personnel will conduct bag checks for safety.
Can I leave and re-enter the event?
No, re-entry is not allowed.
Can I bring a camera or record the event?
Personal cameras and smartphones are welcome for photos and videos. Professional equipment (e.g., tripods, drones) requires prior approval—contact us at foodiefestentertainment@gmail.com.
Weather & Safety
What happens if it rains?
The event is held rain or shine unless severe weather occurs. Updates will be posted on our social media pages in case of severe weather.
What happens if the event is canceled?
In the rare case of full cancellation due to extreme circumstances, ticket holders will be notified via email and offered a refund or credit toward a future event, at our discretion.
Are there security measures in place?
Yes, security personnel will be on-site to ensure a safe experience for all attendees.
Will there be first aid available?
Yes, a first aid station will be accessible throughout the event.
Are there any health or safety requirements?
 No specific health protocols (e.g., masks, vaccinations) are required at this time, but we encourage attendees to follow current public health recommendations.
What should I do if I lose something at the event?
Visit the information booth near the main entrance during the event or email foodiefestentertainment@gmail.com afterward to inquire about lost items.
